Kala Dandekar is a pharmacist and devout Hindu, working at a very successful pharmaceutical company in Mumbai.

She is engaged to Rajan Rasal, the son of her company’s CEO, although she does not love him. She hasn’t told her parents, who consider it a “love marriage”.

Kala takes refuge in praying to Ganesha, the Hindu god of luck and happiness.
