Xena – Xena: Warrior Princess

Fighter

This is an RPG conversion of Xena from Xena: Warrior Princess.

Xena and her two brothers were raised by their mother in Amphipolis. Xena led the villages to repel a warlord successfully, but at the cost of her younger brother’s life. For this, she was ostracized. This began her journey to becoming a violent and merciless warlord.

After meeting Hercules, she set on a path of redemption to fight for the greater good with the help of her soul mate, Gabrielle.

Traits

Personality Traits
When I set my mind to something, I follow through no matter what gets in my way.

I’ve lost too many friends, and I’m slow to make new ones.

Ideals
Nation. My city, nation, or people are all that matter.
Bonds
I’m guilty of terrible crimes. I hope I can redeem myself for them.
Flaws
Violence is my answer to almost any challenge.

Languages

I’ve listed human languages on Xena’s character sheet but they probably won’t be of use in your game of D&D. You can change the languages to any that will be helpful, but here are some suggestions that are relevant to Xena and Greek mythology: Celestial, Sylvan, Giant.

 At Higher Levels

At higher levels, Xena may choose to take the Alert, Animal Handler (UA), Athlete, Inspiring Leader, Linguist, Mage Slayer, Martial Adept, Observant, Savage Attacker, Skilled, and Tough feats.

Suggested Martial Archetype: Champion, Battle Master, or Cavalier (Xanathar’s Guide to Everything)/Knight (Unearthed Arcana).

  1. Love this!

I just started playing D&D so I’m still new to some of the game mechanics but this has me SUPER excited to try! It’s not quite the same without the Greeks but it’s close enough. If there was one thing I would change, maybe it’s just newbie me taking it as you can only do two, though it’s that I would say Xena is more just chaotic neutral and if she’s good is up to the player because while Xena tried to be good she did have a theme of being pulled back to the dark side so just being chaotic neutral allows someone to also be dark Xena if they decide to go down that path in their adventure.

This is really cool; thanks for the set up! 🙂

  2. Hey Allison!

Awesome work! I really think you did a great job, stat wise. Have you considered doing a sheet for Callisto as well or would you just say she’s a lesser version of Xena?
